Schalee Sanchez is a fun-loving encourager whose contagious joy brightens every place she enters. Born in Bakersfield, California, she now lives in Farmers Branch, Texas, and is the grateful mom of four outstanding teenagers and young adults. During eleven years living in Colombia, Peru, El Salvador, and Honduras, she became fluent in Spanish and deepened her love of serving others, exploring new places, and learning new things. Her adventurous side has led her to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and go skydiving numerous times. As a competitive fitness enthusiast, she’s known for being a smiling, friendly runner. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find her in the sun by a pool, on a lake, or at the beach, and her favorite treat is dark chocolate. Friends describe her as a bright light, a dedicated athlete, natural encourager, positive influencer, quick learner, courageous overcomer, calm leader, wise parent, humble human, and loving friend.
