Dr. Bujold is a board-certified cardiovascular specialist with a passion for preventing cardiovascular disease. Her expertise includes preventive cardiology with a focus on lipidology, nutrition, and metabolic health, as well as women’s health. Additional expertise includes the treatment and management of ischemic heart disease, structural heart disease, and heart failure. She is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and holds additional board certifications in nuclear cardiology and comprehensive echocardiography. She is also Level II certified in cardiac CT angiography. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with her family.


Dr. Malathi Ellis, OB-GYN

Malathi Ellis, MD, FACOG, is a highly trained OB/GYN and co-founder of Nurture Women’s Health, an all-female physician practice in Frisco, Texas. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to women in Frisco and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Ellis earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from North Carolina State University and her medical degree from East Carolina University. She completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Arizona and has been serving patients in the Dallas area since 2005.
She specializes in women’s urinary health, PCOS, high-risk pregnancies, infertility, hysterectomy, natural childbirth, and VBAC, and is highly skilled in both vaginal and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Ellis is passionate about women’s health and is committed to caring for her patients through every stage of life.

Dr. Sowjanya Kanna, Gastroenterology

Dr. Kanna is a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in colorectal cancer, GERD, IBD, IBS, biliary, and all conditions associated with the liver. She is passionate about screening and prevention of colon cancer and has a particular interest in IBS. She believes in bringing excellence to her expertise in gastroenterology by providing compassionate care. She has conducted and published original research in colorectal cancer screening, hepatitis, encephalopathy, gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel disease, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, including participation in a National Institutes of Health (NIH) gastroparesis study.
Dr. Kanna is happily married and has two children. She enjoys traveling, music, and singing.
