Tammy Meinershagen was named the “Spirit of Frisco” and one of CEO MOM Magazine’s Power 15, Tammy has a passion for people, their stories, and elevating others to reach their true potential. Over the last decade, Tammy has consistently built strong collaborations across corporate, civic, non-profit, regional, and national partners to deliver extraordinary results. Tammy's creative work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, D CEO Magazine, Dallas Morning News, WFAA, and many other media outlets.
Tammy is the first Asian-American to serve on Frisco City Council and is well-known for her positive impact in the community. A professionally trained pianist and violinist, Tammy served as Chair of the Frisco Arts Foundation, Public Art Board, and Texas Music Teachers Association. As a former educator, Tammy enjoys serving on the Advisory Boards of Legacy Christian Academy and Leadership Prep School, as well as a mentor for the business incubator program in FISD. Tammy is also a member of the Orchid Giving Circle through the Texas Women’s Foundation, which has awarded more than $1.3 million in grants to Asian-American causes in North Texas.
Professionally, Tammy is Chief Innovation Officer at Blackshaw Partners, a 40-year global executive search firm. Tammy oversees all business operations and strategies expanding the Blackshaw Partners brand, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Originally from Chicago, IL and a graduate of Northwestern University, Tammy and her husband Todd reside in Frisco and have three beautiful girls, all in the creative sector.
